China Building Materials Engineering Group sign Austria RHIM dolomite project contract

On September 6, China Building Materials International Engineering Group Limited and RHIM of Austria held a contract signing ceremony in Shanghai for the project design contract of investing and expanding 100,000 tons of dolomite sinter in Chizhou, Anhui Province. Entrusted by Peng Shou, chairman and President of China Building Materials Engineering Group, Sun Jian'an, executive vice president, signed an engineering design contract with Mr. Wolfgang Rautenberg, Chief Operating Officer of RHIM China, Austria. This is an ongoing cooperation after the Group has completed the preparation of the feasibility study report for the group and passed the examination and approval.

RHIM is a joint venture between Austrian Magnesium Group (RHI) and Brazilian Magnesium Group (Magnesita). It is a leading refractory company in the world. Its technology, products and services are indispensable in industrial high-temperature furnaces over 1200 C and are widely used in steel, cement, non-ferrous metals and glass industries. RHIM will invest 20 million euros to expand its dolomite plant in Chizhou, Anhui Province, in order to expand the Chinese market, which is of strategic importance to RHIM.
