China Building Materials Engineering Group Sign Bangladesh flat glass contract

On June 27, China Building Materials International Engineering Group Limited signed a contract ceremony for the new 130t/d flat glass production line of BCL Group in Dakar, Bangladesh. Authorized by Peng Shou, Chairman of China Building Materials Engineering Group, Mr. He Wen, Assistant President and Minister of International Business, signed the contract for the general contracting project on behalf of the company and Mr. HAIDER ALI, President of BCL Group of Bangladesh. This is the third consecutive overseas general contract signed this month, following the Indian float contract signed on 11 June and the Algerian rollover contract signed on 13 June.

BCL Group is a large, comprehensive Bangladeshi industrial group with 30,000 employees in a wide range of industries, including paper, sheet metal, ceramics, construction and food. In recent years, Bangladesh's economic development shows a relatively rapid trend, building materials market, especially the supply of flat glass is tightening. In view of this, the glass industry has also become another new growth point selected by BCL group.

Zhao Wenke, chief engineer of the International Business Department of China Building Materials Engineering Group, and Lu Weisen, former project manager, attended the signing ceremony.
