The Times reported on April 25 that British Prime Minister David Cameron said recently that Britain will stop public subsidies for onshore wind farms and return the decision to build onshore wind farms to local municipalities. At present, the UK's onshore wind power generation is 7.3GW, and another 5GW project is under construction, which makes the UK meet the EU minimum requirement of 11GW offshore wind power by 2020.
